Taskbar does not re-appear after coming back from hibernation

Hope someone can help me out. If my laptop hibernates, and I turn it back on,
the taskbar is nowhere to be found. I have checked to see if it has shrunk or
move, but neither has worked. If I press the Start button on the keyboard,
the start menu shows up, but the taskbar does not.

Any ideas?

I'm sorry for asking this next question, but, have you checked the taskbar
settings?
 
Yes I have. Nothing in the settings jumped out at me that would cause this
from hibernation.
