taskbar display problem

[taskbar display problem]

I have a weird taskbar display problem since I installed
the latest windows updates on 7/20. I have extra bars in
taskbar which cannot be removed. And an open program will
be displayed twice on taskbar like:
quick launch | IE | OutLook| |IE|Outlook|

I tried scandisk and full virus check but found nothing
wrong. And I tried a system recover from a previous
checkpoint but it did not fix it and Exploer would stop
responding.

What should I do to fix it? It is really annoying. Anyone
had the same problem before?
