When I am in my Documents and some other places through Windows Explorer only. I loose my
Taskbar. It does come back when I move my mouse a few times but would like it there all
the time. I selected Lock the TaskBar but it doesn't help.

Have a good day!

When you right click on the Taskbar you get a menu and that says "Lock the Taskbar" it is
next to properties
View > Toolbars ?

Be a little more specific

When you right click on the taskbar and go to properties, Make sure that the
checkmark boxes are all checkmarked except for autohide the taskbar uncheck
that one. If that doesn't stop it from disappearing then your explorer could
be restarting on you and that is why it disappears for a bit. You might try
a virus scan at

All the Taskbar properties are checked except the auto hide.
I ran a virus scan last night. Is there anything else I can do?
As I said earlier this only happens in Windows Explorer.
Hi Rich,

Right click the Taskbar/Properties and check off: Keep the taskbar on top
of other windows.
