Taskbar Auto-hide

I'm having trouble with my taskbar. When I choose the
option to auto-hide the taskbar, the taskbar will auto-
hide until I move the cursor over it. After the cursor
is positioned on the taskbar, it no longer "hides". It
stays in view although the auto-hide option is checked.
Any help is appreciated.

I'm sorry, but I really don't think it's normal for my
taskbar to stay visible when I am moving the cursor off
of it and clicking in different windows while the auto-
hide option is enabled.

I am having same difficulty since installing lastest
patches. I am too bsuy to screw around for hours
uninstalling and roll-back to experiment/find culprit.
This behaviour is NOT NORMAL. I have multiple XP
computers, and only the "fully patched" one has this very
annoying symptom.
Of course, you and I are the "nly ones" experiencing
this!!!!!

FWIW, I just installed new MS patches, and autohide is working properly once
again!
