Sometimes when I click on an application in the taskbar; the system jumps to
another usually to the left.

Example: if I click on I.E. it might jump to Outlook instead.

Why? What is the fix?

Sound like your mouse acceleration rate is too high

Is that better than changing the Mouse settings in the Control panel?
