Task Update Settings?

Is it possible to control how often task updates are e-mailed (other than
on/off)? I would like to make updates throughout the day, without having a
notification go out every time. This can become noise in someone's Inbox.
What I am looking for is something similar to the Sharepoint feature that
allows you to send summary updates (daily, weekly, etc.). Thx.

AFAIK, no, you can change the frequency of tasks updates. It's only noise
if you let it interrupt you - turn off the alerts if you can't ignore them.
