Task Scheduler Question

When creating a task in Task Scheduler, a look-in window asks you to submit
a program/script notation for the task you are trying to schedule.

I put my PC to sleep when not in use. I would like to schedule my PC to
wake up at a specific time. What program/script notation can I use to wake
up my PC? I use Vista Home Premium.

Yes, I am aware of your link. However, as you go through the steps, it
requires you to insert in a look-in window a program/script notation. And, I
don't know what to put there. My reason for waking my computer is to allow
it to run a scheduled backup program, which requires my PC to be on.

Sounds like a possible solution. I’ll give it a try and see what happens.
I thought about doing something like that, but was hesitant because of
Windows Defender would be running the same time as my backup program.
Thanks,
Jerry

Question –
You say to adjust the return to sleep time out. Is this the Put the
Computer to Sleep time option listed under Power Options? I noticed another
article where you needed to change the Register for a time out issue.
