Task Scheduler Problem

Wayne Wengert

Using WinXP Pro I am trying to set a task to execute a program every day at
a specific time. I browse to the exe and set the password for the Run As
account but when I attempt to Save or Apply the settings I get a popup
saying "An error has occured while attempting to set task account
information. The specific error is: 0x80070005: Access Denied. You do not
have permission to perform the requested action.

The system has only one account and it is the administrator. That is the
account used in the Task Scheduler. I know the password is correct. How can
I not have permission? If I browse to the exe using windows explorer and
double click on it it runs fine.

What is going on?
