You probably have the option in Task Scheduler to remind you of missed
events.

- Open Task Scheduler.
- Look under the Tools menu.
- Is the "Notify me of missed events" option enabled?

I am not sure if a password was used my son loaded XP for me and he cant remember

Hi Jock,

Running Scheduled Tasks without a password:

For Pro: Start/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Local Security
Policy/Local Policies/Security options. In the right hand pane (third down).

Accounts: Limit local account use of blank passwords to console logon only.
This is enabled by default, disable it.

For Home: Run Scheduled Task without a Password (Line 68)

nothing in tools but the notfy of missed tasks ticked in the advanced menu
