Task Pane Question

I am a long time PP user but I have a question about an annoyance that I have
had lately. Here is the problem: If I open PP and go to the Task Pane and
then Slide Layout the various choices in Slide Layout are NOT completely
visible. I can click on a choice and that choice will change the layout of
the current slide but the actual representation of the slide choice is not
visible. This exact same thing happens with Slide Design. Here is the odd
part, if I shut down MS Outlook and then open PP I have no problems. I can
even then reopen Outlook without any of the previously mentioned problems.
Everything is office 2003 with all updates and XP with all updates. Thanks in

I have exactly the same problem!
I didn't know it was related to the Outlook 2003 though.
At least now I know how to work around it, but this must be a bug in Office
2003.
Although there doesn't seem to be a solution yet, I'm so thankful that you
have found a work-around.
