Task Manger won't display

If I press cntrl+alt+delete the task manager will open
for about 2 seconds then automatically close. I cannot
get it open either by right clicking the taskbar. This
problem just started and I can't figure out how to fix
it. Thank you for any help you can offer.

Greetings --

The behavior you describe, which also often applies to
MSConfig.exe and Regedit.exe, is typical behavior of more than one
virus/worm, the three below being the most common:

W32.Klez
