Wondering

I was messing around in "Services" and stopping/disabling things that are
not necessary. I did this with several of them. One of the services that I
disabled controls the listing of names in task manager. I no longer see who
is responsible for each process. The "user name" column is empty, except for
one entry. It tells me that system idle process is system, like I couldn't
figure that one out. Anyway, would someone please tell me which service
controls that, so I can enable it once again? I would appreciate it.

Thanks In Advance

Steven

No, that is not even a consideration. Losing other things, just to turn
something back on is a poor choice. If push comes to shove, I will simply
make a list of everything that is disabled, enable all of it and then
disable them one by one until I find it. I was just looking for an easy out
here.

Thank you for that knowledgable reply, it was exactly what I was looking
for. Turning on terminal services put the names back. I appreciate it.

I know what system restore is and what it does. It is just not a
consideration because that is not what it is for. Using system restore to
fix this problem is like shooting flies with a cannon. Thanks anyway.
