Task Manager

When pressing alt ctrl del to bring up tak manager, it
briefly flashes up and then closes!!! any one got any
ideas??

A virus of some type. Many different ones do this now.

This behavior, which also often applies to MSConfig.exe and
Regedit.exe, is typical behavior of more than one virus/worm, the
three below being the most common:

W32.Klez
