task manager

when i press ctrl alt delete to bring up taskmanager,I get a window showing
all the running programmes.It is not the traditional taskmanager I am used
to.There are no option buttons on it, Ie file edit etc.To close the
taskmanager I have to select taskmgr.exe from the list,,and presss end
process.How can I bring up the "normal taskmanager"
I run win xp pro.

Double click on the border. It sounds as if you have Task
Manager running in "Tiny footprint mode".

It's the same Task Manager. There's only one.

You're running it in what's called "Small Footprint Mode." Double-click on
the boarder to toggle back and forth between regular mode and Small
Footprint mode.
