Task Manager problem

When I bring up Task Manager with Ctrl-Alt-Del, all I see is the Applicatons
infomation (Task/Status). I see no tabs (Processes, Performance, Users,
etc), and I see no Minimize, Maximize, or Exit icons. The only way to get
it off the screen is Alt-F4. I have XP Home (SP2). At some point in the
past, I had all the tabs.

I searched this newsgroup and found many references to TM problems but
didn't see one exactly like this. I am running Kaspersky Personal Pro A/V
with the latest updates. I took the advice of one MCP and ran a Stinger and
A-Squared check and came up clean.

Any help will be appreciated.

TIA,

Tom

It sounds like you're running Task Manager in "Small Footprint
Mode." Simply double-click anywhere along the top or side borders to
return to a normal view. Alternatively, pressing <Ctrl>+<Tab> will
allow you to cycle between the various displays, and <Alt>+<F4> will
close it.
