Task Manager not showing processes

S

ssmaitra

Hi,

When I open the task manager, a window opens up displaying the list o
applications currently running on the system. However the title of th
window and the tabs for Processes and Performance are missing.

Hence I am unable to terminate processes or monitor my compute
performance.
I can terminate applications only.

In the past I was able to use use the complate features of the Tas
Manager.

(See attached screenshot)

Task Manager Menu Bar and Tabs Are Not Visible in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q314227
This behavior may occur if Task Manager is running in Tiny Footprint mode. If you
double-click the empty space in the border around the tabs, Task Manager switches to
this mode.
To switch Task Manager to its typical display mode, double-click the top border of
the window.
