Hello!

Task Manager Networking graph problems:

I've searched Web and this forum for the following problems
and couldn't find the reason as far as I tried. I'd
appreciate your help.

1-On Task Manager Networking tab, I have Auto Scale
unchecked , but sometimes all the history goes down
automatically.
Show Scale is checked.

2-Sometimes when I close Task Manager and open it again the
history changes its position; sometimes up and sometimes
down. For example, I have Byte received Throughput around
50%, I close Task Manager and run it again, but now it
shows around 35%. I see this when I download or/and upload
a file and also when the Internet traffic is nearly steady,
i.e. there are small up and downs on the graph but not long
wave lengthes. You can draw a horizontal line nearly (of
course Task Manager itself shows me that.)

As far as I know, networking graphs in System Monitor of
Windows 98 didn't have those problems.

I have neither XP's SP1 nor SP2 and My connection is
dial-up 56K. There is no local network.

I hope there is a solution to this as this is the only way
I know how to check the connection speed. If not, I'd be
very thankful if you refer me to another stable and low
memory software with the same features.

Thank you for reading.
