task manager flashes open and then closes

when i load task manager it loads then closes instantly.
any idea why?. when i run the computer in safe mode it
works but when in standard it does not

w32.spybot worm disables NAV, Msconfig, Regedit and Task Manager:

Rename regedit.exe to regedit.com then:

Download then Merge the edit on line 251 then delete all the files mentioned

i have tryied to find this virus you have mentioned in
norton av 2003 and still no results it is that virus
because all the symptoms are what happens to my computer
so i do not understand
