Hi Guys! I have having a problem with the Task Manager. It doesnt show
up when I click Control+Alt+Del or even when I right click on the
taskbar and select Task Manager.!!! On that day I did downloaded one
Programm on LimeWire and then I clicked Install and after that this
programm did not work then I just deleted it and then I open LimeWire
again and I saw like 100 of Zip Programms on my share list but I could
not find it in my Folder. Then I just delete all of those Files from
LimeWire and close the Programm and the LimeWire kept opening automatic
after I shut the programm down and I tried to open Task Manager but It
did not show up after that day until now. I tried to used spyware to
delete this ****in zip files but it still keep coming back. But now I
think they are gone but Task Manager still doesnt work :( :( Can
anyone help me, plz?
Thanks in advance

I had the same problem and it also involved limewire which I have since
deleted. I was able to start regedit inside the WINDOWS folder, I did a
search of the registry for winupdate and deleted all references (check the
SYMANTEC website for detail before you remove stuff from the
registry).Anyway I was able to regain control of my 'puter but I STILL get
an error when I try to run regedit from the start menu. How can I reset it
so that it runs now?
