My son is mentally slow. We Bought him a computer of his
own. But he is always nessing it up. I could always fix
it before, but this time I can not. Somehow he deleted
just the start button on the task bar, the clock and
every thing else is still there. So I can not get in to
start anything if there is no icon on the desktop.

Greetings --

Have you tried adjusting the controls on the front of the monitor
to see if just didn't move the display far enough to the left or
enlarge it so that the Start Button is out of site?

Try hitting the Windows key on the keyboard. That should
bring up the start menu. I have never heard of the start
button being deleted. Have you tried system restore?
