TASK BAR

Task & Tool Bar at bottom of XP desk to suddenly has
expanded to 2X normal thickness - hides (covers) items I
need to see when using XP, etc.... what happened... How
to I get it back to normal - tried dragging it lower _
does NOT. tried various right click functions - NO GOOD.

????????????????????

right now is shows ikons on the Left side - AOL, MS
Explr, outlook, show desk top, wind. media player. on
Right side shows ikons for printer, sound, anti virus and
firewall. Also,, it does not allow me to remove aol and
media ikon by right click ("close" is no longer an
option)??????????????
