After restoring my computer and loading updated protection along with
Windows Updates, I began poking around into things to see what changes
occurred. I must have inadvertently reset something somewhere. Here is
what is not happening that always occurred before:
I'm using Windows XP Professional. When working in a program with the
program's window open on the screen, and then minimizing that program by
left-clicking the minimize button in the upper right corner, the program
window is supposed to zoom itself down and become an icon in the taskbar at
the bottom of the screen. When I minimize a program, the program
disappears! How can I restore my system to reestablish the minimized
program's icon in the taskbar?
