Task bar refuses to autohide

P

Peter Mitchell

Suddenly, my task bar refuses to autohide but remains
stuck at the bottom of the screen. The next problem is
that full screen windows don't adjust to sit above the
task bar so I can't get at the prompts at the bottom of
the screen. Is this normal? If I set the task bar to not
be on top, I don't know how to get it back except
byminimising everything. A silly but frustrating problem.
Does anyone have any ideas. I have checked the knowledge
base without success.

I note the warning about spam mail so have left my email
address as anonymous. I guess that means i have to check
for replies. Is this the best solution?

Thanks, Peter Mitchell

Right-click start, properties, taskbar tab.
The best way to access the newsgroup is through your newsreader.

If you go to tools, accounts, highlight the account you want to alter, properties,
you can put any false email address you want, such as (e-mail address removed) . This will
eliminate the harvesting of your email address.
