Task bar problems

All of a sudden yesterday, the Administrator account's task bar got messed
up. The speech tools group may appear on top of the quick launch group. By
fooling around with the vertical dividers, I can get things more orless back
to where it was but the next time I log onto Administrator, things have
shifted again. One symptom is that while I have four rows of icons in the
task bar, it seems to be using only the top three rows. The vertical dividers
do not go all the way down to the bottom.

Other accounts' task bars are normal.

Hi Marty

I'm just an amateur. But although there may be some clever workarounds, the
easiest thing to do on XP is to use System Restore. Try restoring back to the
day before the problem started. If you try it, let me know how well it works
for you.

Funny you should mention System Restore. That's the first thing I tried and
found that, as in earlier attempts, it kept saying that it can't restore the
system to the specified restore point. I tried two of them. See my post on
System Restore Problems from this morning.

Does anyone have any other ideas about the task bar problem?
