Task Bar not showing active programs/windows!!!

Programs are no longer appearing in the Task Bar. When
you minimize an application it just dissapears and you
have to use Alt + Tab to toggle between apps. What may
be causing this?

Task bar is visible. Other functionality like the system
tray (Clock, etc) is working fine. We tried resizing the
bar and locking/unlocking. We tried turning quick launch
on and off. All to no avail. I have never seen this
before my self, any advise?

There is an Issue with the Windows XP Taskbar that sees it "lose" the
Program Icons.

Go to http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm (while there,
Add to Favourites).

You will see a page with 2 Columns and Line Numbers at the Left.

On Line 240 in the Left Column, you will see "Programs Aren't Minimised in
the Taskbar".

Click these words to download (and save to your HDD) "xp_taskbarnomin.vbs".

Locate this script on your HDD, and double-click to execute it.

(If your Security/AntiVirus Software issues a warning, allow the Script to
execute.)

This should fix the problem.
