Task Bar Icon Problem

I have several icons on my task bar that I use quite often, After I shut
down than start up the next time the icons won't appear in my task bar,
I go to my notification window and the icons i use have moved from the
current item list to the past item list, Then I have to go through my
programs and reactive the program to get the icon back on the task bar
or go to system restore and restore to the previous day, I have the
icons config to always show, If there is someone that can give me advice
on how to correct this problem I would appreciate it very much. OS
