tapisrv caused an invalid page fault......

When I open Outlook 2000, I getthe error message, "tapisrv
caused an invalid page fault in module kernel32.dll at
0177:bf7s997". I has removed and reinstalled Office 2000
Pro. I have also searched the MS knowledge base and not
found an answer.

Please help. I have run out of ideas.

Do you have Symantec Started Edition fax software installed on this machine?
What is your mail support mode - check Help->About->second line should say.

I have looked around the PC and I don't see any sign of
Symantec Started Edition fax software. Looked
in "add/remove" and in start>programs.

For your next question, can't check that because Outlook
doesn't open.
