Tale of two XP Laptops

We have two laptops. One has XP installed, the other has XP Professional
installed.

The laptop with XP Professional perfectly shares files with and prints
through our 98 desktop. I can not get the XP laptop to do the same. The add
printer wizard is never able to find a printer on our network.

I've tried everything.

Any time you have Windows 98 and Windows XP on the LAN together, you have a
potential for a browser conflict.

If no help yet, lets look at "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each XP
computer, and try and diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked
