"Tagged" FTP Site

Someone "tagged" our ftp site. Directories have been
created that contain invalid characters in their names. I
have not found any way to delete this and would appreciate
any help you can give.

Hi Brandon,

Follow instructions in this article:

Note: Removing this folders is only first part of the job. Second and even
more important is protecting your server (FTP site). Figure out what happen.
Close the allow anonymous write connection on your FTP server... and any
other access that you might not want.

And disable anonymous access, or at least anonymous uploads.

another way to get rid of files and folders with bunk
charectors is by using winrar. select the files to rip
into a rar file and select to delete the origional files
after creating the rar file, that will remove the
unremovable files then you can just delete the rar file
