table with caption

Kimberly

I have a table with multiple columns and rows and when I increase the rows,
they sometimes extend the table and part of the table moves to the next page.
I would like the caption to repeat at the top of the table on the next page.
Is this possible? and if so how. Thanks

If you put the caption in the (merged) top row of the table, it can be
repeated along with the headings.

In the past I have included the caption in a borderless row at the start of a
table which is Repeated along with the tables Title row(s).
Be aware that it is not capable of creating captions directly within a table
row, work-around is to create it as usual, then drag it into the cell. I am
not sure if 2007/10 has changed in this respect.
If your next question is - "can I have "continued" in the repeated rows on
subsequent pages?" The quick answer is - no. this have been asked many times
and there have been many attempts to get this working by some manner or other
but I have not had good results. Maybe 2010 has changed this.
Hope this helps
