i have a database which is using Microsoft access to do. i would like to ask
is it possible to lock the table? cos i no want the user simply go in the
table to modify the data. so is it have any idea to do it? if can, i just
show the switchboard only. then they just can click anything that show in the
switchboard. cant create any table, any query, any form n report. thanks!

Hi

1st MAKE A COPY OF YOUR DATABASE
Then (on the copy) go to
Tools -> Startup -> select your Switchboard

This will open the DB at this form.
You can open it yourself (for more design) by pressing the "Shift" key when
you open the DB.

But of course anyone who know about the "Shift" key process will be able to
get round this. So you may need to look at user level security to block /
lock the DB althougher but thios is a little more complex.

Hope this helps but if you need more anyswer post back and I'm sure someone
will be able to answer.

Good luck
