Table styles in Powerpoint

Ho do I either:

1) Save my already formatted table as a "table style" that can be used over
and over. or

2) Modify an existing stlye to match our company standart style?

I think the existing styles are great, but unfortuneately I work for a
company that has its own styles, and we have to use them.

Really, the only way is to create a slide with the table the way you want
it, then give people that to copy/paste and insert their own data.

You can affect the styles somewhat by adjusting the subtle/moderate/exciting
effect settings in the theme builder utility, but that may well mess up
other galleries and make them not as useful.
