PowerPoint 07 - Edit bullet styles in Master view

I recently viewed a posting on this question and discovered that users
cannot edit Bullet styles on Slide Master using PPT 07. The supposed
work-around solution is that bullet styles can be edited using PPT 2003,
saved as a .pot and then applied in PPT 07.

I cannot find the posting on this again. Please verify this work-around and
that it is indeed a "documented issue" with PowerPoint 2007. If not, please
let me know how to change bullet styles in 2007 using the Slide Master.

Thanks! I love the Discussion Groups, and have found multitudes of answers
to user questions!

Not sure why you or anyone might think that bullet styles cannot be changed
in 2007

View > Slide Master
Select the larger Master slide
Put the cursor in the text level to alter
Right Click or Home tab to get to the bullet dropdown and change the style

Pretty well the same as in 2003 or maybe I'm misunderstanding the question?

It appears that the user had deleted some of the bullet levels. When I went
back and modified the original built in design and attempted to change
bulleted styles, it worked fine. No issue at all.

Sorry for the confusion. Not sure what posting I had read a couple of weeks
ago that I apparently misinterpreted.

Thanks so much for the quick response!

There was one thread where a user was having problems with one bullet level
on a 2007 (I think it was 2007, anyway) file that had been migrated from
2003. You might be thinking of that one. I think it's just an odd, one-off
occurrence and wouldn't consider it a widespread bug or anything.
