table of contents

Help! I have a Word large doc (300+ pgs) linked to a toc. I need to insert
breakpoints, add more information then ensure toc automatically picks up
page/numbering changes and maps it to toc so end result is a doc of around
500 pgs linked accurately to toc. Any suggestions? Appreciate any/all help
offered!

What kind of TOC is it, Pop? If you right-click on the TOC, does it provide
Update Field? and do you then get Update Entire Table, etc? If so, then you
should have no problem as long as you use the same styles and/or procedure
for creating Table of contents entries. This is the easy way:
