Table of content problem

When I generated a table of content, the page numbering of some of the
section restarted at 1. When I looked at the header where the problem is, it
said "First Page Header 1 - section 18" instead of just "Header - section
18". How can I fix this? Thanks

The First Page Header is not the issue. The issue is that you have restarted
numbering at one. In the section where the numbering restarts, click on the
Format Page Number button on the Header and Footer toolbar and change the
setting to "Continue from previous section."

Thanks. That solved that problem. Now, when I insert the page number, It
shows up on a couple of pages then stops. How can I correct this?

My guess is that you have a header in a later section that is not linked to
the the header where you inserted the page number. You can either insert the
page number in that section (using the Insert Page Number button on the
Header and Footer toolbar) or, if appropriate, link that section to the
previous one that has numbering.
