table 'MsysCompactError' ???

I found this table in my database. It contains an error message. "Could not
find field 'Description'" and error number -1611. I don't recall any problems
with compacts. Is this something I should worry about?

Probably. Delete the table and try compacting again. Does it come
back?

If so, you may have a corrupt systems table. Try opening a brand-new
database, and use File... Get External Data... Import to import
everything from your current database.
