Table AutoFormat Tool

I created a 6 by 7 table and used the Table AutoFormat Tool to fill in just
that table after selecting the table. The Tool is filling in all the rows
and colimns on the page, not just the table I selected. How can I make the
Tool fill in only the table I selected? Thanks.
