Tabbed Browsing Freezes

For a few months i have had a problem when trying to use Internet Explorer.
Simply using Explorer as a single Tab is fine, however when trying to open
another Tab, it freezes, and i have little option but to 'End Procces' in
Task Manger. I have downloaded the latest version of Explorer, and also
updated and scanned for Viruses, but nothing seems to sort this out.

Any suggestions would be very welcome!
