Tab key doesn't work.

When tab key depressed it either removes or adds office assistant to screen
or takes me from one document to another if I am in more than one document.
What did I do tochange tab key function?
 
Alt + Tab acts as a toggle to move through your screens, so try depressing
your alt and tab key at the same time and see if that doesn't fix it for you.
