Tab goes too far

When I am in column A and click TAB to move to column B, it jumps t
column M. I do not have my cells protected or locked. Can anyon
help

as I am working in a Brazilian portuguese version, I am not sure ir the
translation are OK..

I haven't seen Gore's PowerPoint movie, but maybe there's a section about the
tab key in excel!

By unchecking the transition boxes, I was able to accomplish what
wanted. You have cured my frustrations! Thank you Thank you Than
