Sytem Shutdown Message

T

Tony

I have just upgraded to windows XP and now whenever I
connect to the internet I get a system shutdown. This
occurs anytime within one to thirty minutes of being
online.
The pop-up box is headed "SYSTEM SHUTDOWN" (red dot with
white cross in corner) and below this it says that this
was initiated by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM. There is then a 30
second countdown area and below this it says, "windows
must now shut down because the remote procedure call
(RPC) service terminated unexpectedly"
Can anyone please can you help ?
Tony.
