Hello and thank you for your help.
I'm using Windows XP on an home computer, my restore disk
have been pscked and shipped as part of a move from
Germany back to the USA so they are not available at this
time.
Problem: Upon starting the computer windows does not load
and I am being prompted to load boot disk to continue
loading. I am at loss please help.

Unfortunately without your boot disk your pretty much
screwed. (As Far As fixing it yourself) However you can
take it to a Computer repair store and they can fix the
problem for around $40 dollars and have it back to you
the same day. Unless you can wait untill after you move.
Then you can do it with your disk.

Take 6 floppy disks and go to a friends house and do a
search for XP Boot disks and you will find that you can
make a six disk floppy boot set from microsofts site or
about a dozen other sites. Lets hope you have a floppy
drive and it's one of the boot options in the BIOS. Have
fun.
