Hello Newsgroup!
We have a Windows 2000 Server with SP2.
After making Windows Update the Users told us, that they have problems
to log on. So we uninstalled the Security Updates and some Q's with
names like PRE SP4.
After Reboot we received a Bluescreen STOP Default Load Path not found winsrv.dll
We copied the files winsrv.dll and kernel32.dll from an other server with
W2K SP2 via recovery console and after that the server booted normal
but with these Error Messages:
The procedure entry point SystemFunction 041 could
not be located in the dynamic link library ADVAPI32.DLL
The procedure entry point SystemFunction 040 could
not be located in the dynamic link library ADVAPI32.DLL
The Users can work at the moment but it is NOT possible to
apply a new Service Pack and the Error Messages pop up from
time to time.
We have tried to replace the ADVAPI32.DLL also, but this fixed
not the Error.
Anybody have a good Idea or maybe a Solution for this?
