I have been experiencing a blank black box that pops up about every 60
seconds with the header C:\Windows\system32\ipconfig.exe.
Can anyone help direct me as to how to eliminate this?
Thank you.

Scheduled tasks won't schedule more frequently than once per day. Some
other software must be polling the connection every minute. Could it be
malware, maybe a virus?

Here's what I would try:

- Click Start, Run, type REGEDIT, click OK. Press Home key, press F3,
type ipconfig, click Find Now. See if the file is listed anywhere in
the registry with a Run, or Runonce key in the left column. Press F3 to
continue the search.

- Look in all Network components for a reference to ipconfig.

- Look in any software related to your isp for mention of ipconfig.

- Run msconfig, go to the Startup tab, and deselect half the programs,
reboot and see if that eliminates the problem. Try the other half,
then, if it stops, narrow down to the one program causing the problem.
