System32 folder initialization display

Symptom:

W/XP home throws up a system32 folder snapshot at
every initialization.

Cause:

Several weeks ago I was cleaning out some junk SF in-
stalled by a grand child on a grand parent's computer.
I was momentarily distracted during the process, and
let a *.dll deletion request proceed. Although this has
resulted in no apparent operational problems, W/XP
will now present this system32 folder view snapshot
at every startup. Of course, it causes no harm, I just
get tired of bypassing.

Correction:

Outside of a system32 rebuild(complete system rebuild),
what will stop the init folder view display. I was just think-
ing that had I acted more promptly, maybe a restore point
return? But, would that actually repair this directory
discrepancy?

Thanks,

Gary

Google is a useful tool. Do a google search on system32 folder opens and
you get this:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=system32+folder+opens

Google should be the first stop in researching problems along with XP's
built in Help and Support.
