Sometime while I was installing software and peripherals on a new XP Pro
machine, the System32 folder began displaying on the desktop everytime I
login. I close the folder pretty quickly, and it's never open when I
logout, but it always comes up when I login. Anyone know what causes this?
(I have a similar problem on an old Windows 98 box -- after installing
Symantec Internet Security 2004, one of it's folders started opening up on
the desktop everytime time I login as well -- not sure if it's the same kind
of problem as the above or not.)
Thanks.
