'System Volume Information'

Hi everybody,

What is the 'System Volume Information' folder?

I am trying to get rid of Swen virus but the scanner
cant access the 'System Volume Information' folder. I cant too. Even if I am
administrator.

Hi
This folder is used by the indexing service, to store its indexes.
Administrator does not have permission by default.
To change it, take ownership and/or apply new permissions.
 
That's right and do not change the permissions or you will have trouble with Index Service. Don't worry about it if you cannot access it as Administrator then no virus will be able to anyway.
