System tray icons

Why do some of the system tray icons fail to appear when I autorun programs
(In %userprofile%\startm~1\startup\ or
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run)?
I am currently running Windows XP Home Edition SP2.

Not really sure if this is what you mean!! ..right click the
toolbar/properties untick hide inactive icons
