System state backup to CD-RW

Mick

I've already created an Emergency repair disk on A: drive,
but I'm now trying to do a Sys.state backup on my E: CD-
RW. But when I try and change the destination to
E:\backup.bkf, I get an error msg. of 'not valid drive, or
no access.

Any ideas? I really don't want to resort to burning up
100+ floppies.

Thanx,
Mick

The backup utility supplied in windows, doesn't support
cd drives, you must first save the file to your hd
and then (if you have a cd burning utility) burn the file
to cd.

Why not choose D: for that. If need be you can always transfer the file to CD
