System Slower after RAM Upgrade

Recently I upgraded from 512mb 10 G RAM. I have a Vaio
P4, 1.6Ghz. I bought decent memeroy from Crucial and
bought the type they recommneded. ONc I installed them
the achine became noticeably slower.

ANy ideas on what to do. I increased the Virtual Memory
to 1536 min to 3072 max. I dont think the RAM is bad as
the machine does run?
